IFG 17 Film Selection (Poll 3)

We are now at Poll number three to decide IFG 17! IFG 14 will be The Imitation Game (2014), IFG 15 will be Official Secrets (2019) and IFG 16 will be They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? (1969), but we need to decide on one more which will be IFG 17 (remember we have two films in September).  The one that misses out will appear later in the year, with Gods and Monsters, in the special Second Chance poll.

Mephisto (István Szabó, 1981, Germany) Drama. In early-1930s Germany, a passionate stage actor finds himself before a dilemma: renounce his apolitical stance and comply with the Reich’s doctrine, or face oblivion. But, Faustian bargains never end well. What is the price of success? 7.8

Stalker (Andrei Tarkovsky, 1979, Russia) Drama/Sci-Fi. A guide leads two men through an area known as the Zone to find a room that grants wishes. 8.2

Please vote for ONE of the films in the poll below.
