Coming Soon: IFG 2019 Awards

Here is the official reminder and full details for the IFG 2019 Awards.  The deadline is Monday 15th June 2020.

Every year the Oscars seem to make many mistakes and here is your chance to correct those mistakes by nominating your own winners.

Those wishing to take part can send up to ten nominations for each of the following categories:

Best Actor

Best Actress

Best Supporting Actor

Best Supporting Actress

Best Director

Best Film in the English Language

Best Film in a Foreign Language

Your nominations need to be in order as points will be assigned (for example, 10 for your first choice, nine for your second, etc.  If you nominate just four for a category the higher points will be assigned, that is, 10 to 7 points).  The only criteria is that IMDb has to list the film as released in 2019.

Nominations are open now with the overall nominations being revealed in late June (followed by, maybe, a ‘live reveal night’ as with the results of the Annual Film Poll?).
